Welcome to the New Inn, Amroth

Once an old farmhouse The New Inn’s history dates back to the 16th century, although over the years it has undergone many changes it has never lost any of its character or charm, and even boasts many of its original features.

The new inn has been family run since 1975, so we are very much a family pub, we have a kiddies corner where the kids can help themselves to reading books, puzzles or coloring in books or if its nice they can run around in the garden, we also have a full kids menu for them to choose from.

The bar area has a snug with an open log fire and the original kitchen to the farmhouse, and the main bar area has a log burner, so wether its the middle of summer or christmas time your always guaranteed a warm welcome. We have 2 dinning area’s which have both recently been refurbished, and one of which over looks the stunning coastline of Amroth with also views of Tenby and Caldy island and a large beer garden for those sunny days.

Here at The New Inn, food is very important to us, we try and use locally sourced produce where possible, we only use celtic pride welsh beef, fresh locally caught fish and we specialize in good old home cooking, and to go with good food you need a good ale, and we always have a choice of good real ales, including a local one from Tenby.

The new inn is situated at the start/end of the 186 mile Pembrokeshire coastal walk, so wether your just starting or just finishing off pop in for a drink. We now able to offer excellent coffee to our visitors so whether you have just finished your walk or are about to set off ask us about our Coffee’s. We use ‘Cafe Eto Coffee Too’ from Castell Howell. If your walking party is larger than 10 please book in advance.

We also now stock a small selection of cycling essentials such as gels, energy bars, inner tubes and tack pump, so if you need some more air in your tyres pop in, also please feel free to ask us to fill any water bottles.
